If these alterations are honest, by their very nature, then the mistakes - they must be random. That is to say the odds or ratio the alterations help the state or help the defence must be 1 to 1. It's simple math. Chaos Theory states random chance increases exponentially. So when one mistake helps the State, the odds become 1 in 2 that these alterations were not honest mistakes but rather something else, I'll withhold judgement or characterization for now. When 2 mistakes help the State's case the odds are 1 in 4 that this is not chance and not an honest mistake but rather something else. It starts to appear, perhaps, that changes were done to help the State's wrongful conviction appear to be just fair or understandably correct. But the odds that statement is correct are only 4 to 1 or said differently, the Crown could expect this lucky situation to occur 1 every 4 times. When 3 alterations were made all in favour of the State's case, the odds of this become 1 to 8, one starts to suspect dirty tricks at this point. When 4 alterations occur all in favour of the Crown, the odds are 1 in 16 this is an honest error. I sincerely believe there are as many as 50 alterations, errors or changes made to cover up facts, in the official and certified transcripts, all favour the State. The odds that this is an honest mistake are listed below. 5 Alterations in Favour of the State or Crown = the Odds or Ratio of 1 in 32 this was an honest mistake or random chance. 6 Alterations = 1 in 64 that this was an honest mistake. 7 = 1 in 128 8 = 1 in 256 9 = 1 in 512 10 = 1 in 1024 11 = 1 in 2048 12 = 1 in 4096 13 = 1 in 8192 14 = 1 in 16,384 15 = 1 in 32,768 16 = 1 in 65,536 17 = 1 in 131,072 18 = 1 in 262,144 19 = 1 in 524,288 20 = 1 in 1,048,576 21 = 1 in 2,097,152 22 = 1 in 4,194,304 23 = 1 in 8,388,608 24 = 1 in 16,777,216 25 = 1 in 33,554,432 26 = 1 in 67,108,864 27 = 1 in 134,217,728 28 = 1 in 268,435,456 29 = 1 in 532,870,912 30 = 1 in 1,073,741,824 31 = 1 in 2,147,483,648 32 = 1 in 4,294,967,296 33 = 1 in 8,589,934,592 34 = 1 in 17,179,869,184 35 = 1 in 34,359,738,368 36 = 68 billion 37 = 137 B 38 = 278 B 39 = 549 B 40 = 1,099,511,627,776 41 = 2.1 trillion 42 = 4.3 T 43 = 8.7 T 44 = 17 Trillion 45 = 1 in 35, 184, 372, 088, 832 46 = 70 trillion 47 140 trillion 48 281 T 49 562 T 50 1, 125, 899, 906, 842, 624 That is, the odds of 50 errors being made in one transcript all in favour of the Crown are 1 in 1 quintillion, 125 trillion, 899 billion, 906 million 842 thousand and 624 Therefore one could expect 50 alterations, changes or honest mistakes all in favour of the State's case, would occur once in every 1, 125, 899, 906, 842, 624 transcriptions. Or said differently the odds the Crown is being honest about this case, are 1 in 1.1 quintillion. I submit the cut off point of beyond reasonable doubt is 1 in 1 quintillion. Conclusion: it's time the Crown stopped wasting tax dollars for personal reasons, spend more time on the growing backlog of child porn/sex cases it has yet to deal with. Looked at another way; If the Court Recorder did one transcription per minute, did not sleep, worked everyday in the year, it would still take 60 transcriptions per hour~ 1440 Transcripts per day~ 525, 600 transcripts per year~ In 1000 years she would have made 526,500,000 In 10,000 years she would have made 5,265,000,000 In 100,000 years she would have made 52, 650, 000, 000 In 1,000,000 years she would have made 526, billion copies - she could now relax knowing that she has done 1/2000 of the job, she would only have to repeat her finished work 2000 times. Note the last calculation was done in my head and may be wrong or rounded off incorrectly. |
