It also ended with Officer Moore arriving on the scene and obstructing justice. Further, cutting off his OPP patch is what I would call, perhaps you too, incredible conduct. Officer Moore failed to follow common sense and safety the night he arrested me. Had I been dangerous, suicidal, or guilty of anything a tragedy could have resulted. There is a lot more but that is for you to determine. If so please confirm it and this fax as well. I forgot to include something that I feel is important. I was hoping you may call or fax in a timely fashion and I could tell you, however that has not happened, as of yet. So please confirm receipt of these two faxes. I was told if I went to mediation with Mr Young I would not be charged and therefore not lose my home and other stuff. Boy was I stupid eh? But, since when is mediation used in criminal cases? Is that a new policy? The first time I was told I would be arrested, was the day Mr Young tried to burn down my garage. If the security motion detector light was such a problem why did various police officers and an attorney tell me to put one up in the first place? Any idea? I honestly do not know why I’ve been charged. I felt I was working with the police, not against them, for the last 4 months when they said they needed more proof of Mr. Young’s activities against us. I gave the police a CD with more than enough evidence to arrest Mr. Young a week earlier. Yet Officer Moore felt justice was served to arrest me based on words from Mr. Young after he knew he had gone too far the night of the malicious arson. Officer Moore did not take the numerous threats by Mr. Young toward us seriously . This does not make sense to either me or my wife. When asked why we thought we were being harassed by Mr. Young we were honest in telling them that about a year prior I had spoken to Mr. Young about his drug dealing to kids in the neighborhood. Apparently it was enough for him to stop that activity but about 6 months later the harassment started. As far as I know Cardiff is Officer Moore’s ‘beat’ and perhaps he should have known who drug dealers in this town are writes a journalist. Is this why Officer Moore suspended my Charter rights and the CC of Canada for his/your friend Mr. Young? Is that legal? One Question here, usually how are the first people to know that there is drug dealing in a community? A Shopkeeper? A Priest? The Chief of Police? Or the family next door? Requiring that I be forced into mediation with someone who has caused $3500 in property damage, threatened to kill me, my wife and dogs, and then sat there watching his handiwork, is extortion. By all accounts from mediators I wrote to there is a rather large fee involved with mediation, at best it is extortion and at worst it is malicious arrest. At no time was there a consideration to arrest me and this only came up by Officer Moore, after the fact, when I refused Officer Moore’s attempts to drive me into mediation. He even attempted to intimidate my wife by saying that she had to attend also or I would be arrested. Lets look at it a different way, if Karla paid 850.00 to the families of the girls she killed, for mediation, then had a good sit-down chat with them, she would not have been charged. It sounds insane, right? Then again karla is free and i am suffering in pain. I do not feel it is right, that a person with 850 dollars can avoid criminal prosecution, this idea of yours (OPP) will cause the break down of law and order across this great land. If I called folks that owe me money for sawmilling, said give me money or I'll have to lock you in a cage, take away your rights, destroy your life and drag you through the courts (for no real reason) what would you charge me with? Extortion correct? Are all Canadians equal or do police have the rights to break laws and apply the CC of Canada as they wish. Are there no standards? I would be more than happy to give you a copy of the CD I turned over to Officer Dickson, if you have any interest in justice, Also I do feel an investigation into the procedures and actions of the OPP officers could bring justice. My wife and I pretty much keep to ourselves and this has caused us tremendous concern and stress as well as ongoing financial and health problems. There is another very very serious matter which could result in a wrongful death suit which could reflect poorly on the OPP that I have not mentioned to anyone other than my wife. I don't feel comfortable discussing it unless or until you polygraph myself and Officer Moore. Feel free to polygraph me asap. I am in failing health do to the actions of Officer Moore and the OPP, so the sooner the better in the interest of justice. We're having a major problem determining who the thin, smoking officer was who was here the night of the fire, and was the officer who was at the station the day Officer Moore cut his patch off. We were lead to believe it was St/Sgt Freeburn. We have a picture of the St/Sgt but the faces don't match up. One last matter, Officer Moore had suggested that we move. Due to his actions we must. Can you please advise me, move out of the Bancroft area? Out of Hastings, out of Ontario or move out of Canada? I am serious, I will now do as you or him order, I do understand the part of the chartre stating all canadians should live in safety and security does not apply to me. Tell me Sirs, where is it I must move to feel safe and earn a living so that I may continue to help victims of child abuse, as I was doing before you folks turned my life upside down? One last point had I not made the site, Mr Young was going to keep up his vandalism and harassment of my wife while Officer Moore demanded more proof. As it turned out when I provided proof, Officer Moore would then arrest me for video taping his pal Mr Young. As further proof of Mr. Young's intentions he was outside menacing my wife the night I was maliciously arrested and she went to the garage to get the car and pick me up at the police station. The whole world is watching as you slowly kill the world's most vocal Survivor. If the OPP wanted to call attention to this problem, the Bancroft OPP has done well. |
