"With the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, we are ushering in a new era of inclusive and welcoming communities, and I am proud and honoured to be assuming responsibility for Ontarians with disabilities, including the implementation of the new legislation. I will collaboratively with my government colleagues, other levels of government, and our public and private partners to break down barriers and improve the social and economic inclusion of Ontarians with disabilities."

"Working together, we will lead the way in making Ontario's communities places where everyone has opportunities to reach their potential."
